What We Do How we making change happen
It’s all about creating a Sustainable Livelihood and Social Justice
Inspired by the amazing potential of our continent and energised by the African spirit, we at GLEEHD are working passionately and tirelessly to help Africans achieve Sustainable Livelihood and Social Justice. We realise that our society is held back by a host of challenges that manifest themselves in the poverty and underdevelopment that pervades our land. Thus, we have carefully designed programs and activities around FOUR KEY PROJECT AREAS that form the pivotal structure of meeting our objective of Sustainable Livelihood and Social Justice in Africa.
Our Four Key Project Areas are:
Good Governance and Social Justice
Economic, Entreprise and Trade Development
Children, Youth and Gender Development
Climate Change and Sustainable Development
The right to development is an inalienable human right by virtue of which every human person and all peoples are entitled to participate in, contribute to, and enjoy economic, social, cultural and political development, in which all human rights and fundamental freedoms can be fully realized.
By 2050, a quarter of the world’s people will live in Africa. Majority of them will be our children, nephews and nieces. It is our duty to prepare a prosperous, progressive and peaceful society for them.
At GLEEHD, we strongly believe that the economic development of Africa lies in its own hands. And this can only be achieved if entrepreneurship and agriculture is harnessed. Through the Economic, Entreprise and Trade Development (EETD) platform, we foster investment and partnerships between governments and businesses both locally and internationally.
Ever increasing droughts, most severe across the Sahara and the horn of Africa, is bringing famine and diseases to millions of Africans.
