GLEEHD is an independent, not-for-profit international organization which seeks to promote Africa Renaissance by fostering Good Governance and Democracy, Advancement of Economic and Entrepreneurial Development, Promotion of Human and Children’s Rights, and Advocacy for Youth Development and Participation in Africa. GLEEHD works to achieve this mission by working in partnership with African public institutions, civil society groups, as well as regional and international development partners.
2030 Africa’s poverty rate is expected to fall to 24%, but it will represent 82% of world’s poor. GLEEHD is working very hard to forestall this. In a continent blessed with abundant natural resources, setting the right objectives, scope and priorities for development will help us to eliminate poverty and achieve one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
